Coconut oil can help in moisturizing dry skin, including in people with conditions such as eczema. It’s known for reducing inflammation, which may result from UVB rays, and for promoting wound healing. It is antibacterial, antifungal, and has antiviral properties.
Palm oil contains the hard to find toctrienols, which are members of the vitamin E family. The common form of vitamin E, tocopherol, has long been used to treat many skin ailments and is found in many anti-aging products. It also contains a refatting agent that helps restore the skin’s natural oils most soaps and strip away letting moisture escape. It is added to skin care products not only for its anti-aging properties, but also because it provides deep moisturizing properties making the skin soft and supple.
Shea butter is not only great for your skin, but it adds additional hardness to the bar. It relieves dry skin, eases irritation, it contains anti-inflammatory substances, which ease swelling and redness in skin, prevents cell damage, improves eczema, provides sun protection, and doesn’t cause allergic reactions.
In addition to lactic acid, goat milk contains fatty acids that help repair the skin barrier, probiotics to encourage the growth of normal skin flora, and vitamin A to help gently exfoliate. Those fatty acids also contribute to noticeably softer skin.
Kaolin Clay absorbs sebum and prevents pore clogging. It's used to draw out impurities and toxins from the pores. It then helps to clear the skin of excess oil, dirt, and pollution without causing any redness or irritation.
Colloidal oatmeal binds to your skin and locks in moisture, giving your skin a chance to rehydrate. It also softens your skin and soothes itching. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it great for people who have dry skin, because it helps balance your skin's natural pH levels.
Each bar is hand cut and trimmed and is approx. 3.5oz. This listing is for one bar of soap. All of our artisan soaps may vary slightly due to the nature of the creative process. Each soap is cut and packaged by hand Individually.
Our soaps are cured for at least 4 weeks to produce a good, hard, long lasting bar of soap. To make them last even longer, please rinse completely and use a draining soap dish so the bar can dry out between uses. It really does make a difference.
